As a part of the Health Equity series, we will be joined by Professor Michele Goodwin of UCI School of Law and Brit Cervantes of UCI's Gender Diversity Program.

Professor Goodwin is a Chancellor's Professor at UCI Law School and a founding director of the Center for Biotechnology and Global Health Policy. Brit Cervantes is the Community Education Specialist at Gender Diversity Program and a prolific community advocate throughout Orange County.

Professor Goodwin and Brit Cervantes will be speaking about the human rights and social justice impact of the recent anti-transgender legislation that is making its way through the court systems across the country.
