Archbishop, give nature hope!
Start: Friday, October 24, 2025•09:00 AM
Location:St Paul's Cathedral•St. Paul's Churchyard, London, EC4M 8AD GB

Nature is in desperate need for a new Ark to carry us through the biodiversity and climate crises we are facing, but there is hope in rewilding. As one of the UK's biggest landowners the Church has the resources, land and influence to help build this ark by rewilding some of their land.
With The Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally just announced as next Archbishop of Canterbury, Rewild the Church and Christian Climate Action are planning to take this message to her with an action outside St Paul's Cathedral on Friday the 24th of October.
We will be joined by Chris Packham to deliver the petition signed by over 105,000 people across the UK calling on the Church to help save nature by committing to 30x30, and urging the new Archbishop to publicly support this call.
We invite you to come along dressed in costumes or with props that represent our beloved UK wildlife and plants, to help us deliver the petition on behalf of the communities and the non-human kin we share these lands with.
Please arrive promptly at 9am to participate in delivering the petition.
