Threads Remember and Hands Resist: The Story of Gaza Told in Arpilleras & Tatreez is a community textile collaboration bringing together the traditions of Chilean arpilleras and Palestinian tatreez to collectively finish stitching Gaza’s past, present, and future. Through a series of free drop-in workshops, participants will contribute to a large collaborative artwork rooted in storytelling, memory, resistance, healing, and future hope.

This event is suitable for ages 9+ (participants need to be able to stitch, cut and glue independently). You are invited to sign up for as many drop in sessions as you'd like.
