Do you work with people who have claimed asylum? Would you like to know more about their entitlement to accommodation and financial support from the government? This hour-long session will provide you with an overview of the asylum support system. It will help practitioners better understand how the asylum support system works, and what entitlement to accommodation and financial support asylum seekers and refused asylum seekers have. It will also cover some of the barriers asylum seekers face when trying to access accommodation and financial support, and what you might be able to do as practitioners to help.
