Say yes to multi-family housing in Champaign!

Give public comment in person or by sending an email to encourage Champaign City Council to approve a Special Use Permit at 919 W Hill.

The 109 year old fourplex predates the zoning code and has been operating under a Special Use Permit which lapsed due to vacancy after mismanagement. The new owners inherited the property and are now hoping to restore the fourplex for new tenants, but cannot make any updates without the permit.

Without this permit, we will lose housing in a central neighborhood along major transit, the opposite of the city council goal of incremental development!

Attend the city council meeting or email the entire city council at council@champaigil.gov to encourage them to vote yes on the special permit for 919 W Hill!
