Background: Engineered Land Solutions is a development company that wants to put a data center on a more than 1,800-acre plot of land in Walnut Cove. This project was previously named Project Delta, which was approved on Jan 12, 2026. The rezoning approval was then withdrawn after a community lawsuit filed by SCSJ and SELC.  On July 20th, 2026, ELS submitted their new rezoning application. Materials here
