This is part of a discussion group series where we discuss a chapter or selection from various climate justice, activism, and political theory texts in order to deepen our capacity to resist the rise of fossil fuel and tech fascism in the United States.

This month, we will be discussing chapters 20, 21, and 22 from Alexis Madrigal's book The Pacific Circuit. These chapters cover the history of the no coal in Oakland campaign and the history of West Oakland as a sacrifice zone.

We will be joined by Ms Margaret Gordon who the book follows for the discussion!
