Inspired by the Chattanooga Urbanist Society, Wilmington DSA's Mutual Aid Working Group is using repurposed materials to construct bus stop benches. Our goals are to improve the public transit experience for working class folks and to bring awareness to the lack of infrastructure for public transit in the Port City.

Join us for some bench decorating! For this session we will be painting the benches built on 8/10. All experience levels welcome, just bring yourself and your artistic skills.

We will be outside, so water and sun protection are a must. If you have any of these tools, please bring them too: paint brushes, paint cups, mini rollers & trays and any paint you'd like to donate.
