Inspired by the Chattanooga Urbanist Society, Wilmington DSA's Mutual Aid Committee is using repurposed materials to construct bus stop benches. Our goals are to improve the public transit experience for working class folks and to bring awareness to the lack of infrastructure for public transit in the Port City.

Join us for some bench decorating! For this session we will be painting the benches built earlier this month. All experience levels welcome, just bring yourself and your creativity. This event is great for kids and adults alike!

We will be outside, so bring water and dress accordingly. If you have any of these tools, please bring them too: paint brushes, paint cups, mini rollers & trays and any paint you'd like to donate.
