From February 18 to 20, 2026, World Peace Foundation RD CONGO Africa will join the Global Days of Action to #CloseBases. In collaboration with civil society, the provincial government of Lualaba Province, Democratic Republic of Congo, there will be a three-days awareness-raising activities, citizen exchanges, and symbolic actions carried out to promote peace and support the closure of military bases around the world. The activities will be held in the City of Kolwezi.
