Basic Steward Training: Roles and Responsibilities of a Steward and Five Steps of Grievance Handling

Class #1 - March 10th, 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Class #2 - march 17th, 5:30 - 7:30 pm

This is a 2-PART training, so participants will need to register for both days.

This training will walk new stewards (and those that need a refresher) through the various roles when acting in a steward capacity; the equality doctrine and the legal rights and obligations of union stewards; identifying, investigating, and writing grievances; meeting timelines; guiding the grievant through the process; tips for success.
