Disney’s most beloved stories are part of sprawling universes: a galaxy far, far away; an ever-growing team of superheroes; a cadre of fairy tale princesses from diverse kingdoms; a beloved mouse and his friends who have been childhood mainstays for over 100 years. These stories have taught us all so much about standing up for what is right and being a hero.

Behind the scenes, the Disney Company is ground zero of the widening inequality in America. Workers within the sprawling Disney universe are struggling to pay rent, access healthcare, and are deeply feeling the effects of exploitation.  

"Be A Hero: A Fan Activist Campaign in Support of Disney Workers" is an event for Disney fans, by Disney fans, and brought to you by Fandom Forward, Imperative 21, and Fork Films. This livestream is the starting point of a positive, fan-led, and ambitious campaign about calling on Disney to have the courage to change the rules of business from Main Street to Wall Street.
