The West Coast is standing up to genocide!

On August 29th, we will unfurl banners calling for consumers to boycott all Chevron gas stations until the company cuts ties with Israel over its direct participation in the US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza, apartheid in the West Bank, and unmitigated destruction of the planet. This action will simultaneously be taking place across the West Coast at freeway overpasses in and around Bellingham, Wenatchee, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Vancouver (WA), Portland, Sacramento, the Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego, and more!

This regional action was called for by West Coast Boycott Chevron, an autonomous coalition with representatives from various organizations across the West Coast. While organizationally independent, West Coast Boycott Chevron acts in solidarity with the Palestinian Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions National Committee (BNC) and the United States Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR), who have spearheaded the national campaign against Chevron.

Organizers are calling on community members to boycott Chevron gas stations and products, and calling on local institutions like universities and churches to divest from Chevron for its practice of fueling genocide, war, and climate destruction globally. Participants will hold signs and banners with messages like “No Fuel for Genocide” and "Boycott Chevron."
