Beyond the Moratorium: A Panel on Data Centers in Howard County

Start: Sunday, September 27, 202602:30 PM

Location: Howard County Central Library 10375 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD 21045 US

Howard County's one-year "moratorium" on data centers is not a ban. The County Council's task force was created to write rules the data center industry can live with, not to decide whether these facilities belong in Howard County at all.

Join Howard County for Human Dignity for a panel discussion with activists from around the state who've fought data center development in their own communities. They'll share what they've learned and what residents need to know now, before the task force's recommendations get written into law.

Panelists:

Andy Ellis - Green Party Candidate for Governor

Taylor Frazier McCollum - Organizer, Stop the Landover Data Center Petition

Hillary Gonzalez - Founder, People's Green Liberation Coalition
