The Rainier Valley Safe Streets Accessible Lake Washington Boulevard Committee invites you to an Opening Day Celebration of the 2026 Bicycle Weekends Season!

Families and neighbors across the Southend and Seattle have long enjoyed the safe space for lakeside recreation Bicycle Weekends provide. This year, we are celebrating the return to the consistent, weekly schedule implemented in 2021!

Please join us for a brief remarks followed by a celebratory First Roll and Stroll from the Mt Baker Beach on Lake Washington Boulevard.

There are two ways to join this event

Join us on Lake Washington Boulevard near the Mount Baker Beach House at 11:20am for remarks prior to the ceremonial first Roll and Stroll

Join us for a family friendly pre-ride to the Boulevard from the newly opened Judkins Park Station at 23rd rolling out at 11am which will join the festivities at Mt Baker Beach!
