No child in Birmingham should miss out on the basics to learn and thrive.
That's why parents and teachers are urging the Government to extend Free School Meals to every child in primary school – the way it's done in London and in Wales already.
A hot, nutritious, daily school dinner would boost every child's education, health and development. It would ease the pressure on every family. It would mean stronger school communities.
We're coming together to discuss Free School Meals for All, how we can raise this issue in Birmingham and win this change. RSVP to attend and learn more.
Whether you're a parent, carer, teacher or work or volunteer with a community group, you know the difference this would make. Everyone is welcome.
Refreshments will be provided from 6pm, including Halal food and hot drinks.
For anyone observing Ramadan, there will be a quiet room available for prayer. Please note the school has standard toilets only; no dedicated washing facilities.
