In celebration of Black Maternal Health Awareness Week, Black Mothers in Power and DHMIC will be hosting a live virtual event on April 18 from 11am-1pm.

This event will feature educational and informational session on the state of black maternal health in Delaware. We will focus on community efforts to address disparities and increase awareness, including a robust discussion on existing policies and programs geared toward improving pregnancy and health outcomes for black and brown women in our state.

Special guests: representative Melissa Minor-Brown, Ms. Raye Jones Avery, Dr Michelle Drew, Black Nurses Rock and many others.
