Scontras Center for Labor and Community Education at the University of Southern Maine, Bureau of Labor Education at the University of Maine, Labor Education Action Research Network at Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations, Joseph S. Murphy Institute at theCUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies, and others to celebrate the release of the new edition of Real World Labor.

We invite you to join us to celebrate the release of this new resource, learn about the exciting materials on contemporary labor issues it contains, and find out how you can bring it to your members.

Dollars & Sense magazine co-editor Chris Sturr will be joined by Real World Labor co-editors Ben Beckett (who is also a co-editor of Dollars & Sense), Kari Lydersen, Kevin Van Meter, and Robert Ovetz.  The editors will provide an overview of Dollars & Sense magazine and the new collection, readings and excerpts from the book, summary of ways to use the book in labor education, and plenty of time for questions and answers from participants.
