In an environment of constant red-baiting against China by the machine of U.S. imperialism, nuance often gets lost and it can be difficult to separate fact from fiction. We aim to counter that trend in this discussion by dispelling common myths that exist in the U.S. around China, and identifying ways to foster collaboration with the Chinese people to address the global political and environmental struggles unfettered capitalism has caused. We hope to come out of this conversation able to discern critique from propaganda, with a deeper sense of the truth around modern China and its role in today's world.
