On Saturday, October 4, 2025, Boston DSA members will join Starbucks Workers United on their practice picket line at the Starbucks store in Harvard Square. This practice picket will be the first action in an escalating campaign that will unfold during this fall and winter. It is a first step in a plan to force Starbucks back to the bargaining table and negotiate a fair first contract, and will be the initial play in a plan to build the power Workers United will need to launch their biggest strike in the US in over 100 years.

Our chapter will meet at the picket line at 11am—official signs will be provided by SBWU on the picket line, so just bring yourself, and maybe a friend or family member.
