Boycott Avelo Rally -- Aug 6th National Day of Action

As part of a national day of action, CT DSA’s International Working Group is hosting a rally on August 6th at 10AM in New Haven to protest Avelo Airlines’ unjust deportation flights and bring awareness to illegal deportations, defied court orders, intersectional struggles and Connecticut’s continued relationship with the airline.
Join us as we call on the public, elected officials, labor unions, the media and university leaders to stand with us in maintaining the pressure to reject Avelo’s cooperation with the federal government’s fascist assault on our immigrant family members, neighbors and coworkers.
A rally will be held on the sidewalks near the Woodward Ave overpass above the I-95 in New Haven (739 Woodward Ave)— a visible location near the exit headed to Tweed Airport. Participants are encouraged to bring signs to show that the people of Connecticut reject Avelo’s decision to profit with ICE
