Our faith traditions teach us that practicing empathy and solidarity with our neighbors brings us closer to the divine. The Trump Administration spews hatred of diversity and violence against the most vulnerable, thieving our tax dollars to do so. They are immoral and unjust, and as people of faith we have a moral obligation to stop this authoritarian breakthrough.

The moral moment is now, and together we are the moral voice.

Our first step to building power is to organize ourselves and our money to boycott Home Depot and Target. Together, across race, place, and faith, we can use our people power and money power to make sure that the businesses that want our support stand for our values.

Boycotting Target and Home Depot is targeted and strategic. Targeted boycotts, like those done during the Civil Rights movements, have a historic precedent of success. By focusing on a smaller number of strategically selected companies that are directly benefiting from and propping up Trump's authoritarian overreach like Target and Home Depot, we can uplift a clearer connection and have a greater potential to win.

Pinning large corporate enablers through a strategic and contextually-aligned boycott, in addition to other strategies, also sends the message to other companies that they’d better respect our values or expect our resistance.
