💚 Help us turn Gateshead Green! 💚

Join us on Sunday 22nd March for our Action Day event to get Melissa Harker, Rachel Cabral and Mark Gorman elected as councillors in Bridges Ward. At each session we’ll either be speaking to residents on the doorstep or delivering literature in the lead up to the May elections.

WHEN:            Arrive at 10.00 am for a cuppa/breakfast and chat ☕

WHERE:           Tesco’s Café, Gateshead

Don’t worry if you haven’t canvassed before – first-timers are always welcome and we will pair you up with an experienced member and make sure you have everything you need.  You are welcome to join us too if you are not yet a member of the Green Party - we'll make sure you feel welcome and part of our friendly team of volunteers!

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking.

This campaign activity gives us the best chance of making a difference in Gateshead by getting Green Councillors elected in the May 2026 local elections. We need Green voices on Gateshead Council.  So we need your help to make this happen.
