Brooklyn FiOS Forum
Start: Tuesday, November 17, 2015• 7:00 PM
Are you one of many New Yorkers WAITING4FIOS?
In 2008, Verizon signed a Franchise Agreement with New York City, promising to make reliable and affordable high speed internet and cable (FiOS) available to any New Yorker who wanted it by June 2014. Now, over a year past the deadline, many New Yorkers are still waiting.
Meanwhile, residents continue to be told that their building, street, or neighborhood just isn’t going to be getting FiOS.
We’re holding a series of public forums, in each Borough, in coordination with public officials, to tell this story, and hold Verizon accountable. As a Brooklyn resident, you have an opportunity to attend, and even speak out at our Brooklyn FiOS Forum this November.
We need you to attend so that we can put pressure on Verizon to finish the job - and bring FiOS to all.
THIS EVENT IS CO-SPONSORED BY BROOKLYN BOROUGH PRESIDENT ERIC L. ADAMS.
