We're calling on the New York State Energy Planning Board to guide our state toward a more reliable energy system that protects the environment, prioritizes energy efficiency, saves us money, and reduces our reliance on planet-warming fossil fuels. New York must lead the transition to a clean energy economy.
The 2025 Draft State Energy Plan falls short of our climate goals and leaves disadvantaged communities behind. It's up to us to make sure the board strengthens the plan before it's finalized!
Renewable Heat Now is mobilizing New Yorkers to deliver oral comments at public hearings across the state and to submit written comments, both of which will be used to develop the Final State Energy Plan. Advocates like YOU can help the board envision the future we want to live in and recognize their power to bring it to life!
Doors will open at 4pm. Attendees who would like to speak at the hearing may register in advance or at check-in. Speakers will be given two minutes to address members of the State Energy Planning Board. Use our guide for delivering effective oral comments with our top talking points.
If you can't make it to this hearing, check our event campaign and our linktree for more opportunities to make your voice heard! Submit a written comment using our comment form.
