Come and join people from across Northfield constituency in a public conversation: What would make your street better?

You don't need to be an expert in street design or know the ins and outs of public transport.

Our Northfield meeting is primarily for people who live, work and play in the Northfield constituency. This covers Allens Cross, Frankley, Kings Norton, Longbridge, Northfield, Rednal, Rubery and Weoley Castle.

We will talk about issues you face trying to get around your neighbourhood and the city and what we can collectively do to address them. This might be through starting a local campaign or writing to our councillors and MP.

About Better Streets for Birmingham

We campaign for changes to our streets so that people can get home safely and where everyone has options to leave their car at home.

How to get there

The NAF Shop faces onto Church Road in Northfield. It's one of the external units of Northfield Shopping Centre.

Northfield is well connected and we hope that you consider walking, wheeling, cycling or taking public transport to our meeting.

Bus

Routes 18, 19, 20, 27, 39, 46, 55, 61 and 63 all serve the shopping centre.

Train

Northfield High Street is a 15-minute walk from Northfield Station with four trains per hour on the Cross-city line.

Cycling

There is ample Sheffield stand cycle parking outside the shopping centre and on the high street.

Parking

If you need to drive, there is free on-street parking and paid off-street parking. Northfield Shopping Centre's multi storey car park will be closed. Make sure you check signage when you enter a car park.

It costs £30 every meeting for us to hire the space. While entry is free of charge, please consider donating to cover the room hire if you are able to.
