CT DSA is inviting our members to join a standout this Saturday at 2:30PM on an overpass near Bradley Airport to celebrate the recent news that the deportation airline, Avelo, is leaving Bradley airport! Wear a DSA shirt if you have one. Please email international@ctdsa.org with any questions.

"WE DID IT! Avelo is leaving Bradley in January, after weak demand and the CT Airport Authority denial of its request for even more free rent. Thank you to everyone who stood out, boycotted, called, emailed, publicized, strategized, etc. Resistance works!

Join us for a party on the overpass to celebrate this amazing achievement. And to make sure travelers know not to fly Avelo in the coming months, or at other airports.

We’ll have super fun music from members of the Hartford Hot Several Brass Band and The Expandable Brass Band! Bring snacks, noisemakers, inflatable costumes etc. - let's have some fun!

This event is sponsored by a coalition of a dozen groups in CT and MA. Our first standout was last month, and over 160 patriots showed up! Come and join the effort to resist ICE atrocities and those who enable them. Get plugged in to the next steps in the resistance.

We'll hang huge banners on the Route 75 overpass just outside the airport and hold signs facing Route 75. Both roads are busy, so plenty of travelers and their families will see our message. Stay for as little or as long as you like.

PLEASE CARPOOL as much as possible to help with parking. Park at nearby business and use sidewalks and crosswalks to get to the overpass.
