The Freedom BLOC invites you to our hybrid (virtual or in-person) Build a Better & Safer Akron convention which will take place at Emmanuel Christian Academy on Saturday, December 17th at 1:00 PM for the Akron community to come together to create a space to celebrate, educate, and activate as we build stronger relationships that “Invigorate a better, safer Akron.”

Topics of Discussion Include:

• Intro to The Freedom BLOC

• We won Issue 10, Now What?

• Addressing The Violence in Akron

• Fixing our Broken Criminal Justice and more!!!

What to expect:

• We will be providing refreshments and dinner at the convention

• Toys giveaway for children

• We will be collecting gloves, blankets, hats, and socks for the homeless community, Guests are encouraged to bring any item for the collection if able to.
