In some unions, it's tough to get involved beyond paying dues. Maybe leadership is an exclusive club or maybe they're just checked out, but something needs to change. Even when you can get involved, is it a struggle? Are you really being listened to? Are your coworkers engaged with the union, or just paper members?

Building democratic participation makes a stronger, fighting union. Come hear from union members who are currently organizing to do just that, even when union leadership doesn't agree with them.
