Building Power: a Future Ground Network convergence (BC)
Start: Wednesday, May 17, 2023•10:30 AM
End: Wednesday, May 17, 2023•08:00 PM

ONLY A FEW SPOTS LEFT! REGISTRATION CLOSES Friday, May 12 at 12:0pm PT.
It's finally happening! Since launching FGN two years ago, we've been dreaming about getting everyone together in person. We’re piloting this with a day-long in-person event in Vancouver. Please join us for this exciting opportunity!
Building Power: a Future Ground Network Convergence will give you (our member groups) the chance to join forces for an in-person (or virtual) workshop and strategy conversations, sparking connection and collaboration with other groups. Through power-mapping exercises and personal storytelling, participants will build alignment on where the environmental movement is at, how much power needs to be built towards system change and how local initiatives can effectively work within broader movements for change.
We’re aiming to make both events accessible to folks outside the city centres by providing funding for travel and accommodations as well as streaming the panel and workshop via Zoom.
This is a great chance to deepen connections with others from your group! We encourage you to turn this into a road trip or to gather in-person as a group if you're tuning in virtually.
You're doing the work. Let us treat you! This event is free of charge, and given enough notice, we will cover the costs of your travel and accommodations. Please tell us what you need when you register. If you're joining virtually as a group, please email esarjeant@davidsuzuki.org to access funding to cover the cost of food/drinks for that gathering!
