The DSA Health Workers Collective is teaming up with the Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee to hold our first event of 2022, and DSA Medicare for All is excited to be co-hosting this event as well! Join socialist nurses, unionized doctors, health care students, and others for a panel discussion on how we can build worker power in the health care sector and why doing so is important to bring about the changes socialists want to see in the world. Featuring a panel with Gabriel Winant, author of The Next Shift, as well as health care workers who are fighting for a union, organizers who work with health care workers, and more. We'll have a short panel discussion with our speakers (with time for q + a), followed by breakout rooms for participants to talk over issues they are having at work and roleplay organizing conversations in the workplace.
