Standing Together is a radical social movement organising both Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel to resist war, occupation, and racism, in pursuit of peace and equality.
Their work includes mobilising to support Palestinian farms and communities in the West Bank facing settler attack; protesting the Israeli government’s genocidal war in Gaza; and resisting the displacement of Arab-Bedouin communities in the Naqab/Negev.
Join us for an opportunity to hear in person from the movement’s national co-director Alon-Lee Green. Alon-Lee will give a presentation on the movement’s perspectives and activity, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.
The meeting will be chaired by Jasr Kawkby from the UK Friends of Standing Together Steering Group. Abdalrahman Ahmed, a UK Friends of Standing Together supporter from Gaza, will also give an update on the situation facing Gazans, including his family.
