This gathering is for YOU.

The fact is: An open bar and handing out business cards don't add up to the kind of genuine community our industry needs. So... I'm hosting something different.

This event is designed to help all of us embrace the awkward of meeting new people and find connections who can turn into lifelong professional and personal support.

The agenda is:

• 6-6:30pm Arrive, order a drink and/or some food
• 6:30-7:15pm Speed grouping -- gather in groups of 3-4 with folks you've NEVER met before
• 7:15-7:50pm Breakout groups -- you'll be assigned a group with an advisor who match the interests you select
• 7:50-8:30pm Farewells -- Get your last drink and make those final connections

What else makes this event different?

1. No business cards. Want to stay in touch with someone? Pull out your phone and send that first email, text, or DM to get your conversation going.
2. This event is the start, not the end. Everyone who comes should commit to meeting up with one person you meet at the event within the next month.

COVID Safety

I care about keeping everyone safe and healthy. Proof of vaccination is required for all guests. Metrobar's space is almost entirely outdoors except for bathrooms and the train car.
