This educational panel will provide choreographers with tools to better understand how copyright law applies to choreography and how to protect original choreography. The choreography Darrin Henson set for *NSYNC's music video “Bye Bye Bye” has been in the news lately for being licensed by Sony Music to Marvel Studios and Epic Games “without Henson’s knowledge, consent, or involvement.” We’ll be joined by attorneys from this case, as well as other experts, for a broader discussion of what every choreographer needs to know about choreography copyright protections.
