In the last two years, the singers and shouters opened for Neil Young's "love earth tour" in 32 cities across North America, performing a half-hour set for half a million people, a shorter version of the Can We Be Strange Enough… show. The challenge was to inspire a great number of people who are not necessarily environmentally inclined. Watch the set HERE
The traditional New York performances by the Church of Stop Shopping in the shopping season shift to the 500 seat Quaker Meeting House on the edge of the East Village and Gramercy.
Consumerism is causing climate change, but now the Earth is unraveling that toxic economy, with a global heatwave featuring cities bursting into flames and 220 mph wind. Now, with the energy of the NYC election outcome and the uprising of Amazonia at COP 30, the Stop Shopping Choir are calling. Join us!
