Whether you're just joining or have been on our email list for a while and want to do more, this meeting is your starting point to get plugged in. Learn who we are, what we do, and how you can take action for climate justice right here in Rhode Island!
What We Do
Climate change is the biggest challenge humanity has ever faced, and we're taking action. Climate Action Rhode Island (CARI) is a grassroots organization and an affiliate of 350.org working to build the climate movement in Rhode Island. We empower everyday people to push for climate solutions and meaningful action on the local, state, and national levels. Our goal: a fair and just transition to renewable energy and a sustainable earth.
How You Can Get Involved
At this info session, you'll hear about the many ways to take action—whether you're into showing up, speaking out, digging into policy, or connecting with neighbors. Volunteering is what you make of it, whether its staying informed about CARI's efforts, coming out to an event once a month, or being active with one of our teams.
In this meeting, we’ll walk through CARI’s mission, goals, and teams, leave time for your questions and feedback, and help you figure out how you might get involved.
