In September 2025, NYC-DSA's CBK Tenant Organizing Working Group convened to reflect on our work and set goals for the next six months of work. This conversation culminated in establishing the following focus areas:
Focus 1: Develop a cadre of knowledgeable organizers
Focus 2: Supporting ongoing organizing efforts
Focus 3: Strengthening ties with the Bed-Stuy community
Now that nine months have passed, we'll be reconvening to assess our group's progress in these established focus areas. We'll also take time to establish our goals and strategies moving forward.
This meeting will be two hours of productive conversation and deliberation. Those that have attended at least one TOWG event before are encouraged to attend. The meeting will be hybrid with a Zoom option, but we hope as many folks will attend in-person as possible.
