BRING SIGNS, AMERICAN FLAGS, AND FRIENDS!

Saturday, June 27th, 2026 at 10 am

Meet on the public sidewalk outside Lakeside Village (near the Louis Pappas and Starbucks). You can park inside the mall, but then take the sidewalk to walk outside the mall. Prepare for the heat; please bring sun protection, water, and a chair if you need. Sun umbrellas are encouraged.

The story of the United States of America is not a simple picture book. We are a tapestry with many interwoven strands and fibers creating a stunning masterpiece full of shadows and light. With the 250th anniversary of our country approaching, the administration is using this as an opportunity to promote a biased view of our history. The MAGA philosophy seeks to pluck out the strands they believe don't belong and patch over the shameful parts. But honoring our heritage means remembering the whole truth, even when it's inconvenient or unprofitable.

Americans across the country will march, rally, and gather for All of U.S. 250, a national day of action supported by Get Free, 50501-aligned partners, Political Revolution, and organizers across the broader No Kings ecosystem.

Our event in Lakeland will be a demonstration on the intersection of Town Center Drive and Harden Blvd. We will have goodie bags and some interactive activities. We will end by 12 pm.

The 250th anniversary of this country doesn’t belong to any administration. It belongs to every generation that fought to close the distance between what America promised and what it actually delivered. The abolitionists who forced a reckoning with enslavement. The suffragists who spent decades fighting for the vote. The civil rights marchers who bled for the protections the Supreme Court is now taking apart, piece by piece. The disability rights activists, the labor organizers, the immigrant communities who insisted that the word “all” in our founding documents should actually mean all.

Federal agencies have been scrubbing civil rights history from government websites and programs. Funding for cultural institutions that tell the full-American story is being slashed. School curricula are being rewritten to remove the chapters that complicate a narrative of unbroken triumph.

All of U.S. 250 is an affirmative response. On June 27th, we show up for the full truth of this country.

A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

There are sidewalks and ramps leading from the parking lot to the area we will be demonstrating at.
