What we know: around 40 cars with Border Patrol agents arrived in Charlotte this afternoon. And what we saw in Chicago from these same agents was a willingness to conduct multiple operations daily, even on Sunday. And with 40 vehicles in the convoy that arrived tonight, eight teams of agents could each conduct four or five operations across the Charlotte area daily.

There’s a lot we don’t know. CBS News is reporting that this operation may only last a week. If so, agents will probably try to maximize the number of people they can snatch each day on their way to work or school. And we don’t know if that’s true, or if the plan will change.
