Join us for Sun Day Solar Fest on Chicago's beautiful Lake Michigan shore — a joyful celebration of the power of the sun.
Be part of the clean energy transformation! Over 30 groups — from solar installers and nonprofits to justice organizations and houses of worship — will share fun, easy ways to go solar, including community solar that can save you 15–20% on your electric bill.
The day will be packed with family-friendly fun as we celebrate the miracle of solar — part of the global clean energy wave, where 95% of new power last year came from solar, wind, and batteries! Festival highlights:
- Expert advice on all things solar
- Live music featuring Chicago Blues, folk, and jazz
- Hands-on science activities for all ages
- Parade with flash mob dancers & giant puppets
