What happens when a legendary legal champion for family farmers sits down with a fearless water scientist taking on Big Ag?
Join us for a powerful online conversation between Sarah Vogel, former North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner and author of The Farmer’s Lawyer, and Chris Jones, water quality scientist, author, and candidate for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture.
From taking on USDA during the 1980s farm crisis to taking on corporate agribusiness in the heart of the Corn Belt today, Sarah and Chris know firsthand that corporate profits must not come at the expense of clean water, healthy soil, and family farmers – and how to make change happen. Sarah’s proven track record of making a state ag department work for real people brings a grounded, battle-tested roadmap to Chris’s vision for a clean, sustainable, and prosperous rural Iowa.
Come find out how transforming state agriculture is actually going to work, and why this fight matters now more than ever.
