With last month’s meeting as a false alarm, the Community Involvement Committee is now set to take a final vote on our city’s first rental licensing and inspections pilot THIS WEDNESDAY, August 27 at 2:00 PM.

This is our last shot to fundamentally change the conditions in which tenants in our city live. Because of you, we’ve made it to this critical and history-making point where safe, well-maintained properties for ALL Springfield renters are within reach. We cannot let all of that work go to waste when many of us have suffered and are suffering from the absence of these imperative protections.

This Wednesday, we’re looking to gather the BIGGEST SWARM of tenants we’ve ever had at Wednesday’s CIC meeting. Show up and bring your friends, family, and neighbors to make Springfield a true home for tenants!
