We will be joining the Clean Slate Maryland Coalition on the steps of the General Assembly in Annapolis in support of the Maryland Clean Slate Act of 2026 (House Bill 360/Senate Bill 483). This act will automate  expungement of non-violent eligible misdemeanors and seal of the records 7 years after the disposition of a case. For the many Marylanders who have fulfilled their obligations in the criminal justice system, this will provide them with a real chance to build their lives.

Join our demonstration of collective power as we advance vital reforms to the criminal legal system, including fair housing access and the implementation of automatic expungement. We will coordinate carpools from the New Carrollton Metro Station, for any in of a ride. Please mark in your RSVP if you will be willing to drive others or in need of a ride.
