Image with a colourful border and the Climate Emergency UK logo, which is Earth dripping with oil and 'Climate Emergency UK' in red text. The additional text reads: 'What Do the Council Climate Action Scorecards Say About Brighton and Hove?'. The other logo is the Mother's Climate Action Network logo, which is in yellow and purple.

Climate Emergency UK, along with the help of over 260 volunteers, created the Council Climate Action Scorecards to measure actual climate action from all UK councils and hold them to account.

We're pleased to host this online event to discuss the scores for the South East, in collaboration with SECA, and explore how we can work collectively to improve local climate action.

What to expect:
  • A short intro to Climate Emergency UK
  • A quick overview of the 2025 Climate Scorecards results, focusing on the South East
  • How has your council improved since the 2023 Climate Scorecard assessment?
  • How can you engage with your council using the Scorecards?
