On September 14, Carney is inviting the worst corporate villains to a summit in downtown Toronto to sell off public resources and finance destructive mega projects like weapons factories, AI data centres and toxic pipelines.

They can’t show up in Toronto unopposed.

At 5:45 PM, a climate contingent will assemble at the NW corner of Nathan Phillips Square to join the 6PM rally. From there, we'll march to disrupt the billionaires at their summit gala.
Why you should join:

• Carney's attempting to find investors for projects like the toxic West Coast pipeline and some of Canada's most notorious fossil fuel villains, such as Suncor and Teck Resources, will be there.
  
• We must rise up to ensure that our federal leaders don't sell off our future to these climate villains.
• Let's rise up together to demonstrate the strength of the climate movement alongside Indigenous land defenders and our friends in labour, anti-war, and migrant justice movements.
• We will have signs and banners to share but we also encourage you to bring your own.

Please note:

• Local Toronto-based organizers will be working to ensure safety of all participants with the goal of avoiding arrests, however, this action will aim to confront Carney's CEO Summit at its venue and it may be met with escalated police response, as such we encourage participants to be over the age of 18 to join in.
