Start: 2023-12-06 08:00:00 UTC Eastern Standard Time (US & Canada) (GMT-05:00)
This is a virtual event
Join the Worldwide Climate Education & Justice Week on Wednesday, December 6th at 8 AM EST and 12 PM EST (New York Time) to talk about how to engage local communities in transitioning from climate despair to repair. We will be exploring this urgent need in light of the negotiations at COP28, and see how we can engage these pivotal activities as climate-concerned educators.
If you’re interested in participating in the Worldwide Climate Justice and Education Week (April 1st - 8th), but are unsure how to frame your event Climate repair is a great place to start. Learning to inspire hope in our students and colleagues is an important part of generating local solutions and action in our communities. Climate despair can often leave us frozen, stuck from taking the first step. Explore resources and partner programs with us that help inspire, engage, and empower students to move beyond crisis and into action.
This webinar will be led by David Blockstein and Eban Goodstein.
We look forward to seeing you on the 6th! For any questions, please email Karianne Canfield (kcanfield@bard.edu)
