On Tuesday September 7th from 12-1PM we're rallying at City Hall. Council is poised to unanimously declare a Climate Emergency on 9/13. Immediately following our rally, conversations will begin on how to allocate the 155 million dollars coming to Richmond through the American Relief Plan (ARP). This is an unmissable opportunity for City Hall to put its money where its mouth is.

Declaring Racism a public health crisis, and Climate Change an emergency IS important. But If we don't dedicate money to Climate Justice - those words are empty.

We're urging council to direct at least 20% of all ARP spending to Climate Justice initiatives - including those clearly outlined in the Resolution.

Come. Bring signs, bring your voice, bring banners, bring family, parents, grandparents, children and friends. It's time to Tell the Truth about the Climate Emergency, and it's time to do something about it.
