Central New York is undergoing one of the largest publicly subsidized development projects in our state’s history.

Micron Technology has recently broken ground on its massive semiconductor facility in Clay, New York. The company is slated to receive more than $20 billion in public subsidies. With that level of public investment, our community deserves enforceable commitments that ensure good jobs, protect our health and environment, and strengthen our community for generations to come.

That’s why workers, community leaders, educators, environmental advocates, and residents have come together to form Central New York United for Community Benefits a new coalition working for a healthy future for CNY.

This historic investment will have lasting impacts on our community and so we want to hear from you! We invite you to join us for an in person Town Hall Saturday March 7th at the Southwest Community Center in Syracuse, NY to hear from you about what issues matter most and discuss our vision for a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) with Micron.
