Co-chairs are the people who help keep working groups and committees on track to achieving their goals. The people in these roles are super important to Seattle DSA being able to win victories for working class people; without co-chairs, groups' activities can become uncoordinated, new members have a hard time getting involved, and the work of the group slows down or stalls out completely.

In the spirit of creating support for those who are in this role or considering being in this role, the Local Council is offering this Co-chair Training. Topics covered in this training will include how to:
  • grow your group
  • engage people in your group’s work
  • utilize chapter resources
  • hold effective meetings
  • build leadership
  • avoid burn-out
  • and more

Again, this is open to anyone, whether you are a co-chair currently, are potentially interested in being a co-chair, or are just curious.
