It's time for Boulder community solidarity, and we've got a combo-event for you:

Event One — A Picket Line! Join our brothers & sisters fighting for a union on Wednesday 7/29 @ 4:45pm at Hotel Boulderado!

"Hotel Boulderado workers are moving to unionize this month, saying layoffs, reduced hours and heavier workloads followed the hotel’s sale to AJ Capital Partners, a Nashville-based real estate investment firm." <- Read Boulder Reporting Lab's article for more details

Event Two — After the picket, hang around for some cold beers, good company, and a low-key workshop on developing & providing public comment to city council. This is a skill you can acquire and use effectively for any campaign or community project you care about!

> Link to sign up for public comment (virtual) during the 7/30 council meeting.

• This form will stop accepting submissions at 2pm on Wednesday the 29th!
• If you're intimidated by the idea of making a public comment this is a great opportunity to practice being brave. We'll be hosting a casual Public Comment Clinic on July 29th @ 6pm @ Jungle Rum Bar, and we'd love to see you there!

Hope to see you there!
